Priorities and Objectives

Each year ODLC’s board of directors adopts priorities and objectives for its programs. If you would like to provide public comment on what the board should consider for priorities and objectives for the upcoming fiscal year, please complete our Request for Public Comment Survey.

Clients of ODLC are also asked to complete our  Client Satisfaction Survey.

  • Discharge Planning (Mental Health Facilities)
  • Discrimination Based on Disability
  • Education:
    • Abuse/Neglect/Restraint/Seclusion
    • Bullying/Harassment
    • Reduced School Day (less than 1/2 day)
    • Social Security Beneficiary Transition
    • Discharge from Inpatient Facility
    • FAPE (PAIR program only)
  • Employment (Social Security Recipients)
  • Transportation
  • Voting Rights and Accessibility

We cannot help with the following issues, even if they are related to a disability:

  • Applying for or appealing denial of Social Security disability benefits
  • Criminal law
  • Family law
  • Becoming the guardian of a person with a disability
  • Help finding employment, housing or financial assistance
  • Out-of-state issues
  • Workers’ compensation
  • Medical malpractice
  • Personal injury (unless related to abuse or neglect)
  • Consumer or bankruptcy issues
  • Wills & Trusts
  • Any issue or problem not directly related to your disability
  • Anything that is not the wish of the person with the disability
  • Any issue for a person who already has an attorney working on the same issue
